The corrected triangulation results are now reasonable, although the tabletop height is still only an estimate, perhaps z = 0.75 m. The first yellow car's match between high-image pixel (113, 256) and left-wrist pixel (113, 423) gives z ≈ 0.838 m, which seems too high. The car is partly visible in the wrist image and partly occluded in the high image, so those apparent centers may not represent the same physical point. Perhaps the high-image point should be (117, 253), or around (116, 254), with a different wrist match. Could the wrist point correspond to a roof at z ≈ 0.79 m? I do not yet know why this match gives 0.838 m.
For the second yellow car, possible roof matches are high-image pixel (198, 254) and wrist pixel (407, 424), rather than the points I used. A specific landmark would be better than an apparent centroid: the black sunroof center may be at (199, 253) in the high image and (416, 412) in the wrist image. The apparent body centers at high-image pixel (190, 260) and wrist pixel (388, 443) may also refer to different heights. I should triangulate corresponding landmarks rather than assume that centroids match exactly.
The right watch match gives z = 0.7775 m, perhaps at the band center. A table at z = 0.75 m and a watch center near z = 0.765 m seem plausible. The wooden-toy match gives z ≈ 0.794 m, which could be a torso center near 0.8 m. I can tentatively use the z = 0.75 m plane for contact estimates and upper object surfaces around z = 0.79–0.80 m. Manual landmark matches could refine all the positions. The high camera gives a view from above, while the wrist cameras give more frontal and side views. I can approach using these estimates and refine alignment from new wrist images. There are 1100 control steps available; paired cycles might take about 100 steps each, with roughly 450 steps overall in one estimate.
The right watch may help estimate the table height. High-image pixel (423, 252) and wrist pixel (161, 432) might be approximately corresponding rim or center points, although the previous match gave z = 0.7775 m. If the metal band is about 0.007 m thick and the face about 0.01 m high, perhaps its center is at z = 0.77 m and the table is at z = 0.765 m. Could the table instead be at 0.74 m? I still favor 0.75 m, but this needs verification.
The baskets may have bottoms at z = 0.75 m and rims at z = 0.85 m. In the high image, a basket's front bottom appears near vertical pixel 211, its front rim perhaps near 198, and its back top near 141. At z = 0.75 m, high-image pixel (191, 176) projects to approximately x = -0.331 m, y = 0.102 m. A width of 132 pixels, from 125 to 257, might correspond to about 0.3 m; at z = 0.8 m the horizontal extent may be approximately x = -0.45 to -0.15 m. The baskets might be about 0.28 by 0.36 m, with centers near (-0.3, 0.1), (0, 0.1), and (0.3, 0.1) m. Their center heights remain uncertain.
The approximate horizontal object locations may be: cars at (-0.4, -0.15), (-0.25, -0.15), and (0, -0.15) m; watches at (-0.15, -0.08), (-0.15, -0.23), and (0.2, -0.13) m; and wooden toys at (-0.4, -0.22), (0.35, -0.15), and (0.45, -0.07) m.
One initial option is to approach the second yellow car with the left arm at approximately x = -0.265 m, y = -0.15 m, and the near right wooden toy with the right arm at approximately x = 0.35 m, y = -0.15 m. A possible left pre-grasp link6 target is (-0.265, -0.15, 0.99) m. I need to orient the car grasp across its width. Its long axis runs diagonally from lower left to upper right in the high image. One rough image displacement is (28, -24) pixels; its polygon extends approximately from (171, 266) to (210, 249). Since world +x projects right and world +y projects upward, its long axis has positive world x and y components, perhaps around (0.055, 0.04) m. A perpendicular closing direction could be around (-0.04, 0.055).
For a downward grasp, I can define local X = (0, 0, -1) and local Y = c = (cos θ, sin θ, 0), where c is the horizontal closing direction. Local Z is then (sin θ, -cos θ, 0), giving R = [[0, cos θ, sin θ], [0, sin θ, -cos θ], [-1, 0, 0]]. At θ = π, local Y points along world -x and local Z along world +y, matching quaternion [0.5, -0.5, 0.5, 0.5]. At θ = 0, the matrix is [[0, 1, 0], [0, 0, -1], [-1, 0, 0]], with a possible quaternion [0.5, -0.5, -0.5, 0.5] that I should check with SciPy.
The rotation from the initial orientation to a downward grasp may be about 2.1 rad, or 2.094 rad. I considered using 15 control steps, allowing increments totaling about 1.5 rad, but each action's target must remain within 1 rad of the current measured orientation. I therefore need intermediate quaternions. I can use spherical interpolation to generate an intermediate rotation about 0.8 rad from the initial pose and continue from the next measured pose. Each control step allows at most 0.1 rad; a target 1 rad away could take about 10 steps to converge, while grasp actions should use 1–3 steps for careful control.
A raised pre-grasp could be at link6 z = 1.05 m. An initial intermediate target might use x = ±0.27 m, y = -0.23 m, z = 1.02 m, with a partial rotation. For the left arm, moving from approximately (-0.3, -0.352, 0.922) to (-0.27, -0.23, 1.02) m is about 0.16 m, within the 0.25 m translation limit. A later target could use the object's x and y with link6 z = 0.97 m and the final orientation. The new wrist view should help alignment.
The initial fingertips are near y = -0.194 m, z = 0.922 m. The car is around y = -0.14 m, z = 0.77 m, giving about 0.15 m vertical clearance. The right toy is near x = 0.35 m, y = -0.14 m, z = 0.79 m; the initial right fingers at x = 0.3 m and y = -0.194 m could be nearby, but are around z = 0.92 m. Rotating with link6 raised to z = 1.02 m might keep the fingertips around z = 0.86–0.95 m, above a toy top estimated at 0.82 m.
For the second yellow car, I initially considered a closing angle of 140°. A long-axis angle around 35° would suggest a perpendicular angle of 125°. Another landmark estimate, from (173, 270) to (211, 249), gives image displacement (38, -21) pixels. At y = -0.14 m and z = 0.77 m, the horizontal scale may be about 440 pixels/m and the vertical derivative about -310 pixels/m. Using 38/440 ≈ 0.086 m and 21/300 ≈ 0.07 m gives a long-axis angle around 39°, hence a perpendicular angle around 129°. I could choose θ = 130°, giving closing direction c ≈ (-0.643, 0.766). The car may be 0.09 m long and 0.045 m wide. The finger centers lie at ±local Y times half the gap, while the fingers extend downward; I still need to inspect how the pads align with the sides.
The fingertip depth matters more than merely positioning link6 above the object center. The pad contact region may extend from local x = 0.1 to 0.1576 m, spanning roughly 0.05 m vertically above the tip in a downward grasp. Link6 at z ≈ 0.96 m would put the tip near 0.802 m, while the car roof may be at 0.79 m and its base at 0.75 m. A tip near 0.765 m could put the pads around z = 0.78–0.82 m. To wrap the car's sides, I could aim for fingertip z ≈ 0.756 m and link6 z = 0.9136 m, approximately 0.914 m, instead of the earlier 0.94 m estimate. With a tip at 0.755 m, the pads may grip the body around z = 0.76–0.79 m. A pre-grasp link6 height of 1.02 m puts the tip near 0.862 m, followed by descent to link6 0.914 m and tip 0.756 m.
For a wooden toy about 0.07 m high, a body grasp around z = 0.77–0.81 m might use a fingertip at 0.754 m and link6 at 0.912 m. A low watch band might use the same heights. If the tabletop is at 0.75 m, the minimum fingertip height of 0.754 m leaves 4 mm clearance. If the table is at 0.74 m, it leaves 14 mm, which might be too high to grip the watch; could pads around 0.02 m in extent still make contact? Later observations should refine this.
The near right lion's grasp geometry remains uncertain. The right wrist view seems to show an upright lion facing toward world -y, while the high view at (491, 257) may show its side or back, or its mane from above. Its yellow body and brown stripes appear around (492, 251). The head may be near y = -0.17 m and the rear body near -0.12 m, with a center around (0.345, -0.15) m. A torso grasp behind the head, closing along world x, could target approximately (0.35, -0.135, 0.79) m. The wrist mane appears around vertical pixels 402–440, with the body extending below the image; an initial right finger partly occludes the farther toy.
Could I grip the mane, ears, or cheeks? The head might be 0.055 m wide and 0.06 m high, with contacts near x offsets ±0.025 m at z = 0.79 m. A downward grasp closing along world x uses θ = 0. At horizontal center (0.344, -0.147) m, link6 z = 0.925 m would put the fingertip near 0.767 m. The face or mane might reach 0.85 m, although the triangulated point from high pixel (491, 257) and wrist pixel (408, 434) is at z = 0.794 m, perhaps the mane center. With a table at 0.75 m, the lion might be 0.08 m high; its top could instead be near 0.82 m. A head grasp around 0.79 m with the tip at 0.754 m remains a possibility.
The farther toy is near (0.417, -0.079, 0.797) m. Its high view looks sideways and its wrist view may show the rear at (496, 336). It might be accessible first, but lies near the basket front, perhaps y = -0.01 m. An approach around x = 0.42 m, y = -0.08 m would need sufficient height to avoid the basket. The near toy around (0.35, -0.15) m is about 0.1 m away, so I should avoid sweeping the gripper into it. Handling the near toy first may be simpler. The left wooden toy is near x = -0.41 m, y = -0.21 m and is partly hidden by the initial left gripper.
I considered pairing the left yellow car with the near right toy, then the white car with the right watch, then the other yellow car with the farther toy. Assigning objects by side would give the left arm three cars, two watches, and one wooden toy—six objects—and the right arm two toys and one watch—three objects. A more balanced alternative is five objects for the left arm, consisting of two yellow cars, two watches, and the left toy, and four for the right, consisting of the white car, the right watch, and two toys. The right arm might reach the white car near x = 0. It might also reach a back watch around x = -0.14 m, y = -0.07 or -0.08 m: the horizontal offset from a base near x = 0.3 m is about 0.44 m, against a possible reach of 0.55 m. A front-left watch around (-0.14, -0.23) m might require about 0.54 m reach. These are unverified estimates. Six cycles at roughly 50 steps each would be about 300 steps plus the return, so balancing the workload is not essential with 1100 steps available.
However, assigning objects only by pickup side overlooks their destination baskets. A right-arm wooden toy must go to the left white basket, not the right red basket. Carrying it across the middle blue basket could also interfere with the left arm's car placement. Similarly, left-side watches must reach the right red basket. Perhaps each arm can reach the middle basket, but opposite-side baskets may be beyond reach.
The bases appear near x = ±0.3 m, but their y positions and the arm reach are uncertain. Possible reach estimates are 0.5, 0.53, 0.55, 0.6, or 0.7 m; I also wondered about a 650 mm arm span or links of approximately 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.2 m. A left-to-right basket displacement might require about 0.6 m horizontally and 0.4 m forward, or roughly 0.72 m. One earlier estimate was about 0.65 m. If the right base is near (0.3, -0.55) m and the left basket near (-0.3, 0.1) m, the distance is about 0.88 m. With bases near y = -0.6 m it might approach 0.9 m. If a base is at y = -0.5 m, offsets of 0.6 m in both x and y give about 0.85 m. Another possible base-to-left-basket vector is (-0.6, 0.55) m, exceeding 0.8 m. These estimates suggest opposite-side placement may be impossible, but I have not established the actual geometry.
The initial link6 positions at x = ±0.3 m, y = -0.352 m, z ≈ 0.92 m are not proof of base locations. I considered bases near y = -0.55 m, z = 0.95 m, or shoulders near y = -0.45 m, z = 0.75 m; the images may put the bases as far back as y = -0.65 m. High-image features around vertical pixels 390, 400, and 440 might help, with pixel 400 perhaps corresponding to y = -0.45 m. The table might be about 1.2 m wide. I should not assume that the task guarantees every arm can reach every basket. The high-camera calibration places positive x to the right, so the right toys do appear opposite their destination basket. I can learn from measured motions and kinematic prechecks without accessing simulator internals. The 0.25 m per-action bound can be handled with intermediate targets, but it does not establish overall reachability.
If cross-workspace reach is insufficient, I can transfer objects through the shared center. The right arm could bring the two right toys near (0, -0.18) m or (0, -0.15) m for the left arm. The left arm could bring its watches near (0, -0.18) or (0, -0.20) m for the right arm, unless the right arm can pick them directly. Four transfers would add work but may fit within 1100 steps. Instead of a direct handoff requiring precise coordination and risking arm contact, I could place each object on a clear central tabletop area near (0, -0.25) m, withdraw, and let the other arm regrasp it. A center-front area near (0, -0.3) m is another option. An intermediate basket is also conceivable because only the final locations matter, but a supported tabletop staging point seems simpler; I would still need to prevent rolling or falling.
I should start with objects whose pickup and destination are straightforward, then reassess cross-workspace transfers. The left toy around (-0.4, -0.21) m could go directly to the left basket, and the right watch around (0.21, -0.13) m directly to the right basket, but the left toy is partly occluded. The second yellow car and the right watch have clearer geometry. I will choose those as the first pair: left car to the middle basket and right watch to the right basket. Later possibilities are the left toy paired with the white car, followed by the other yellow car while the right arm stages a toy.
Before approaching, I should inspect better landmark matches and the watch's grasp geometry. For the car sunroof, another candidate pair is high-image pixel (199, 253) and left-wrist pixel (415, 413). For the watch, the band center may be near high-image pixel (423, 253) and wrist pixel (160, 428), with an estimated height around 0.777 m.
The watch may be a flat circular or oval band with its face on the lower-right side in the wrist view. In the high view near (423, 252), the ellipse could also look tilted or partly upright, with the face perhaps toward its top. The wrist band is near (160, 430), with the face around (180, 440). Is it standing partly upright, or does the oblique view make a flat loop look vertical? I need to inspect this. I could pinch the band opposite the face at its upper-left arc, or close across the outer sides of the whole ring, perhaps 0.05 m wide with an estimated 0.08 m open gripper gap. A centered grasp could send the fingers into the opening if alignment is poor. Grasping the case across its thickness is another option, but it is small and could be difficult. A top-down grasp near the band and case, closing along world x or y, may work. I will crop and enlarge the high and wrist views of the watch and car before choosing the contact points.
