The tabletop is probably at z = 0.7 m. I estimate the basket bottoms at z = 0.7 m, their tops at z = 0.78 m, and the object centers at z = 0.72–0.76 m. Link6 is currently at z = 0.922 m, with the fingers pointing forward horizontally. For a top-down grasp, I estimate that link6 should be around z = 0.86 m: with the fingers extending 0.1576 m along local +X, now directed downward, their tips would be around z = 0.70 m.
The basket front faces appear to be around y = 0.12 m, and their centers may be around y = 0.26 m. I should calculate the container centers from the camera geometry and the front lip height of 0.78 m. My approximate object positions, in meters, are: the left pepper at (-0.48, -0.03, 0.73), the left watch at (-0.245, -0.125, 0.74), the left toy at (-0.42, -0.20, 0.725), the center toy at (0.155, -0.20, 0.725), the right watch at (0.27, -0.19, 0.73), the right bunny at (0.39, -0.04, 0.74), and the right pepper at (0.445, -0.17, 0.75). That makes seven objects.
I could start with nearby objects using both arms simultaneously: the left arm could pick the watch around (-0.245, -0.13) and take it to the left basket around (-0.36, 0.25), while the right arm picks the center toy around (0.155, -0.20) and takes it to the right basket around (0.36, 0.25). The left toy, around (-0.43, -0.20), is initially occluded by the gripper; rotating downward might uncover it. The right red pepper is around (0.445, -0.17).
Another option is to pick both visible watches in parallel, but both must go into the left basket. I could keep the right arm away while the left arm places its watch, then place the right watch, though sharing that approach creates a collision risk. Taking the left watch to the left basket and the right bunny to the right basket would avoid that interference. I could then handle the left pepper and right pepper, followed by the remaining objects. The 1100-step budget should be enough for seven objects at roughly 60 steps each plus the reset; simultaneous use of both arms could reduce the work to roughly 400 steps. I should change orientations cautiously.
I could first rotate both grippers downward at an elevated link6 height of z = 0.95 m and shift x and y toward the approximate targets, perhaps using 15 control steps. The full orientation change is about 1.57 rad, exceeding the 1 rad target limit, so it requires an intermediate orientation. The initial quaternion is q0 = [0.707, 0, 0, 0.707], and the proposed downward quaternion is [0.5, -0.5, 0.5, 0.5], in wxyz order. Their dot product is about 0.707, giving a relative angle of 1.5708 rad. I could make two orientation steps with an intermediate angle around 0.8 or 0.85 rad, using SLERP or an axis-based rotation. I am also considering raising link6 slightly to z = 0.97 m from its current z = 0.922 m.
At the left arm's approximate position x = -0.3 m, y = -0.352 m, the fingers would sweep from forward to downward with a radius of about 0.158 m. Their tips would move from y = -0.194 m, z = 0.922 m to y = -0.352 m, z = 0.764 m. I do not see an object near y = -0.35 m; the left toy is around (-0.43, -0.2), so I think that sweep is clear. The right watch at (0.27, -0.19) is near the initial right finger path, but the initial fingertips at x = 0.3 m, y = -0.194 m, z = 0.922 m are above it. After rotating downward, the tips would be at x = 0.3 m, y = -0.352 m, z = 0.764 m, about 0.06 m above the tabletop. That appears safe.
I am still working out the intermediate quaternion. I considered an intermediate rotation of about 0.65 and the candidate quaternion [0.633, -0.178, 0.388, 0.634], but I should normalize and check it with SciPy. I can calculate projections and orientations in a helper script or inline for each action. Actual targets must remain within 0.25 m and 1 rad of the measured poses. A halfway interpolation from q0 to the downward quaternion would have an angle of about 0.785 rad. My hand normalization of the sum [0.707 + 0.5, -0.5, 0.5, 0.707 + 0.5] is uncertain: I initially got [0.6035, -0.25, 0.25, 0.6035], then considered 1.207² + 2 × 0.25² = 1.582 with a square root of 1.258, and 0.5 / 1.258 = 0.3975. I need to check this with SciPy.
