The peppers have been released. In the high-camera view, the left yellow pepper is visible at approximately (293, 184) pixels, inside the front-left part of the blue basket. The right pepper is hidden beneath the gripper around (355, 174). The right wrist view shows two peppers; the released right pepper may be at the upper center, with the left pepper below it. Both appear to be inside.
I should retract both arms clear of the basket before approaching the next objects. I could lift vertically to z = 1.05 or 1.08 m and move back toward the table, then pick up the two chocolate bars simultaneously and carry them to the left basket. From high-camera pixel (237, 274), assuming z = 0.77 m, I estimate the left chocolate bar near x = -0.17 m, y = -0.17 m. The right bar at approximately (370, 268) pixels gives an estimate near x = 0.10 m, y = -0.16 m at the same assumed height. The arms are currently near x = -0.116 m and +0.094 m, y ≈ 0.015 m, z ≈ 0.973 m, with the wrists tilted inward by 15 degrees.
The chocolate bars are thin, so I need a downward grasp with the closing direction aligned across their short axes. The left bar extends approximately from (217, 268) to (255, 286) pixels, giving a high-camera long-axis vector of (38, 18). I could map those endpoints through the table homography at z = 0.77 m to estimate its world direction. Its length may be 0.11 m, though the pixel-length estimate gives 42/450 = 0.093 m. I initially estimate a world-axis displacement around (+0.07, -0.01) m; since increasing image v corresponds to decreasing environment y, a vector around (+0.07, -0.04) m may be more appropriate. The right bar extends from approximately (345, 258) to (394, 282), giving a similar image vector of (49, 24). Both long axes appear to point toward positive environment X and negative Y, with the Y component roughly -0.4 times the X component.
A top-down gripper closing along environment Y would be reasonable because the bars are mainly aligned with X, but it could be about 22 degrees away from the perpendicular direction. A yaw of roughly 20 degrees about environment Z could improve the alignment. Taking the bar direction angle as φ ≈ -25 degrees, its unit direction is d = (cos φ, sin φ), and the perpendicular closing direction is n = (-sin φ, cos φ) ≈ (0.423, 0.906). Starting with the downward orientation Ry(90 degrees), local Y points along environment Y. Applying a world yaw θ changes it to (-sin θ, cos θ, 0), so θ = -25 degrees gives the desired closing direction. Local X remains downward because a world-Z rotation leaves -Z unchanged.
I will use the quaternion for Rz(-25 degrees)Ry(90 degrees). In composing it, I briefly considered whether the final component should be -sin(45 degrees)sin(-12.5 degrees). Writing qz = (cz, 0, 0, sz) and qy = (cy, 0, sy, 0), I obtain the wxyz components (cz·cy, sz·sy, cz·sy, sz·cy). With cz = 0.9759, sz = -0.2164, and cy = sy = 0.7071, this gives [0.6900, -0.1530, 0.6900, -0.1530]. If the bars are parallel, both arms can use this orientation and close across their short axes along approximately (0.423, 0.906).
Relative to the downward quaternion [0.707, 0, 0.707, 0], the dot product is approximately 0.488 + 0.488 = 0.976, giving an orientation distance of 0.443 rad, below the 1.0 rad limit. From the left arm’s current approximate tilt quaternion [0.794, 0, 0.608, 0], the dot product is 0.548 + 0.420 = 0.968, giving about 0.505 rad. The right arm’s approximate quaternion [0.608, 0, 0.794, 0] gives the same dot product in reverse order. The new orientation therefore appears to be within the command limit for both arms.
I should approach above the bars at link6 z = 0.97 or 1.0 m, with their tops estimated around z = 0.77 m. The eventual grasp height needs care because the bars are thin. With the table at z = 0.75 m, a bar thickness of 0.015 m, and its center at z = 0.758 m, contact at local x = 0.12 m would put link6 at z = 0.878 m, roughly 0.88 m. With a finger extent of 0.158 m, the tips would then be at z = 0.720 m, below the table, risking collision.
A link6 height around z = 0.91 m may work better: the tips would be at z = 0.752 m, near the table. I am unsure whether the contact pads would span heights around 0.79–0.91 m; with the object around z = 0.76 m, only the very tips may contact it. At link6 z = 0.90 m, the tips would be at z = 0.742 m, 0.008 m below the estimated table, although the actual table might be at z = 0.74 m. For a thin-object grasp with the fingertips at the table, link6 z = 0.9076 m is another possibility. Contact at local x = 0.14 m would then be at z = 0.768 m. I will tentatively use a grasp height near z = 0.91 m, with the pad tips around z = 0.76 m, and refine the horizontal centers by triangulating the head and wrist views after approaching. The chocolate-bar tops may be at z = 0.765 m. An angled grasp is another possibility, but I will proceed with the downward orientation for these thin bars.
First, I will retract both open grippers vertically to z = 1.04 m while rotating toward the chocolate-bar orientation. The targets are left [-0.116, 0.016, 1.04] m and right [0.094, 0.01, 1.04] m, both with quaternion [0.690, -0.153, 0.690, -0.153]. I estimate the position change as about 0.067 m and the orientation change as about 0.5 rad, within the 1.0 rad limit. Raising to z = 1.1 m failed earlier, so I am uncertain whether this lift will pass the local precheck, but z = 1.04 m may be feasible. I will try 5 control steps to lift away from the released peppers.
After inspecting that motion, I can move toward the bars with short diagonal transfers. Possible intermediate targets are left [-0.18, -0.10, 1.0] m, about 0.135 m from [-0.116, 0.016, 1.04] m, and right [0.13, -0.10, 1.0] m, about 0.116 m from [0.094, 0.01, 1.04] m. Those may still fail the precheck, though larger moves could become easier nearer the initial table region. I will retract first and decide from the next observation.
